Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Taskog (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Taskog is an AI-powered productivity web application that helps users organize their thoughts and tasks through a “brain dump” interface. The Service is currently in beta and features may change without notice.

3. Access & Eligibility

Access to Taskog is currently open through our website, with certain features reserved for paid subscribers (“Pro Plan”). We reserve the right to grant or revoke beta access at our discretion. Beta features are provided “as is” and may be unstable or change without notice.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Taskog. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's use of the Service.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to secure your credentials.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the AI processing infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to submit brain dumps in bulk.
• Attempt to bypass daily usage limits through technical means.

7. AI-Generated Content

Tasks extracted by Taskog AI (our AI engine) are generated automatically and may contain errors. Taskog does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated task suggestions. You remain responsible for all decisions made based on these suggestions.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Taskog a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service (i.e., extracting tasks). We do not claim ownership of your brain dumps or extracted tasks.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency downtime at any time. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taskog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Taskog at any time, with or without cause. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy (within 30 days).

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For users located outside India, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with internationally recognised arbitration rules, or in the courts of the user's country of residence, at our discretion. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly regardless of your location.

14. Subscriptions & Payments

Payments for Taskog Pro are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to their terms and conditions in addition to ours. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time via your Profile settings; access will continue until the end of your current billing period. All sales are final.
